The ISO 45001 Basic Training introduces participants to the structure and requirements of the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System standard. It systematically addresses how to implement a risk-focused management approach to prevent workplace accidents and occupational diseases.

  • The importance of worker participation and consultation requirements
  • Organizational context, interested parties, and roles of workers
  • Hazard identification, risk assessment, and identification of OH&S opportunities
  • Legal and other requirements; compliance obligations
  • OH&S objectives and operational control measures
  • Emergency preparedness and response planning
  • Performance monitoring, incident investigation, and internal audit
  • Continual improvement and management review

Occupational safety specialists and workplace physicians, HR and operations managers, prospective internal auditors, department representatives involved in ISO 45001 certification, and all employees wishing to build foundational OH&S knowledge.
