Halal Certification Foundation Training

The Halal Certification Foundation Training is a programme covering the requirements and implementation steps of the Halal certification process, which assesses the compliance of food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical products with Islamic standards. The training covers the concept of Halal, OIC/SMIIC 1 and international Halal standards, establishing a Halal management system, prohibited (Haram) ingredients and risk areas, and production line controls. Participants learn about raw material and supplier conformity assessment, cross-contamination prevention measures, and the application process with an accredited Halal certification body. The training is aimed at representatives of the food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical sectors targeting Gulf and Southeast Asian markets.
