About this Course
Purpose
ISO 10019 gives guidance on selecting quality management system consultants and on using their services. This expert-level course shows how to assess consultant competence against objective criteria, how to document the selection process and how to monitor the outcome of the consultancy.

- Structure of ISO 10019 and its relationship with ISO 9001
- Consultant competence criteria: knowledge, skills, experience, personal attributes and ethical conduct
- Organisational needs analysis and definition of the consulting scope
- Competence matrix, evidence file and scored selection process
- Scope, deliverables, duration, confidentiality and KPIs in the consulting contract
- Monitoring the consultancy, evaluating the output and handing over the system
Programme
- Day 1: Structure of the standard, boundaries of consulting services, needs analysis workshop
- Day 2: Competence criteria and evidence, proposal evaluation and scoring workshop, ethics and impartiality
- Day 3: Contract and KPI design, monitoring the process, case study and assessment exam
Prerequisite
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and preferably two years of quality management experience. Offered at Expert level only.
Certification
Participants who pass the assessment receive a BESA / PersonaTR certificate of achievement; others receive a certificate of attendance. Certificates can be verified online.
